Alzheimer's Garden

This is my quilt "Out of Control: In Memory of Bill". It was designed for the "Alzheimer's: Forgetting Piece by Piece" exhibit sponsored by the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative currated by Ami Simms. The exhibit has been traveling the U.S. since 2006 and is currently on display at the Shelburne Museum in Shelburne, VT until October 24th.

Unbeknownst to me, the Shelburne created a garden based on my quilt design. To read about it, click here.

Have a great week!

Kate,
Your quilt is beautiful! How neat to have your quilt be an inspiration for the garden.

Wow!! That's an amazing quilt, and what an exciting discovery to find out that a GARDEN was designed after it! You must be blown away. :D
