Ahhhh, Quilts!

Okey Dokey! After a major struggle with blogg.er, they finally let me have my blog back!!!

I've been quilting the last couple days. This first is a QOV (Quilt of Valor). I cut it out and a friend, Sharon M., pieced it. Finally got around to quilting it on Saturday. Wanted to learn to use my groo.vy boards with my machine. The boards worked great... the thread, not so great. It kept shredding. So there are tons of tails to tie and hide :( But it will look pretty good when all of that is finished.

This is the cuddle quilt I quilted today. Again with the clam shell groo.vy boards. Only this time the thread co-operated. Result: quilt finished and a much happier kate!
